Understanding Venus in your Natal Chart

Importance of Venus
Everyone knows and understands the significance of their Sun Sign. The Sun Sign is also colloquially known as the ‘Zodiac’ or ‘Zodiac Sign’ or ‘Horoscope’. Far too often, the Sun Sign has been used by fashion and beauty magazines as the ‘be-all-and-end-all’ of a person’s life. We are all too well-acquainted with the attempts of Astrology columns dividing the world’s population into twelve signs, as though “an old flame would be rekindled” for one-twelfth of the world’s population.
This is not to say that there is no value in Sun Sign Astrology. There is a time and place for it, especially if we are looking to understand one’s sense of purpose and meaning. In the context of romance and relationships, however, it is the sign of Venus that is more relevant and useful.
